by An incredible Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series was spotted in Kyiv. This is a very rare and very cool model – only 350 of these coupes were produced between 2008 and 2011.
AMG did serious work on the Mercedes SL65. First of all, this is a coupe, not a roadster with a retractable metal roof. The top is made of carbon, as well as the hood, wings, and body kit with a retractable spoiler. The result is 250 kg less weight.
The interior features bucket seats with a carbon fiber frame and a sports steering wheel.
Although the Mercedes supercar is lighter, it retains the electric package, navigation, and rearview camera.
Under the hood lies a six-liter V12 twin-turbo with 670 hp. The peak torque is 1200 Nm, but it had to be limited to 1000 Nm to preserve the 5-speed automatic.
The Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series supercar accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and to 200 km/h in 11 seconds. The top speed is limited to 320 km/h.
The new coupe was priced at 300,000 euros, and even now, the prices are not much lower. Incidentally, this car with the same license plates has been seen in Kyiv before and belonged to the wife of a notorious deputy.
