An exclusive Mercedes-Maybach S650 has arrived in Ukraine. It’s not just an expensive Maybach sedan, but a true premium tank for VIPs. Facebook auto journalist Pasha Kashchuk published photos of the armored vehicle.
The fact is, the Maybach S650 is armored to a very high VR10 standard. This means it is protected not only from bullets of a Kalashnikov rifle or sniper rifle, but it can also withstand a hit from a light grenade launcher.
Additionally, the underside is protected against mines. The photos show thick bulletproof glass and tires that are resistant to punctures. Moreover, the interior is airtight and equipped with two batteries. Perhaps the only vehicle better protected is the new Donald Trump’s limousine.
Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Maybach S650 remains luxurious and comfortable. Its interior is upholstered with expensive leather and wood, the rear seats are equipped with electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage. There are also detachable tablets in the backs of the front seats. In general, everything as it should be in a Maybach.
Under the hood is a familiar V12 twin-turbo with 630 hp, so the heavy Mercedes sedan should be quite spry. You can buy a Maybach with tank-like armor for 700 thousand euros, and it would be very interesting to find out which oligarch or politician ordered such a vehicle in Ukraine.
