The latest British Land Rover Defender clone spotted in Ukraine

In Kiev, a new Ineos Grenadier 2023 was photographed. This is the first off-road vehicle of the British brand spotted in Ukraine. This was reported by Focus.

Ineos Grenadier with Polish numbers, so it is possible that the SUV was brought for customs clearance, as it is not officially sold in Ukraine. However, it may be that the car is owned by a citizen of Poland who came to Kiev.

The new Ineos Grenadier is a modern variation on the classic Land Rover Defender theme. The company’s founder, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is a fan of old Land Rovers and even tried to buy a license for their production.

When Land Rover refused to license it, Jim Ratcliffe created the Ineos Grenadier, which closely resembles the Defender. Land Rover even sued Ineos, but could not win.

The body-on-frame off-road vehicle has an original interior with instruments in an aviation style. Ineos Grenadier is equipped with 3.0-liter BMW turbo engines – a 286 hp gasoline and a 249 hp diesel. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive with low range.
