A rare sports car Wiesmann GT MF4 from 2008 burned in Ukraine. Previously, this coupe was in the garage of the late Gennadiy Kernes.

From the photo, it appears that the rare car is not restorable – only a charred skeleton remains. Details of the fire are unknown, but it is said that Wiesmann MF4 didn’t burn on its own – it was assisted.

TopGear has repeatedly written about this car, as well as about the entire car collection of Gennadiy Kernes. He acquired it even before he became the mayor of Kharkiv – in 2009 it was a gift for his 50th birthday.

The Wiesmann GT MF4 coupe stands out with a retro design in the style of the 50s. Under its hood is a 4.8-liter V8 BMW producing 367 hp. With a 6-speed automatic, it accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.6 s, and its top speed is 290 km/h.
