by An exotic and still very unusual electric car was spotted in Kyiv today. It’s about the Rivian R1T pickup from a young American electric vehicle manufacturer, founded in 2009. According to TopGir, this is the first instance of this model in Ukraine.
The base version of the Rivian R1T has two electric motors that collectively produce 408 hp and 560 Nm, but there’s also a variant with four motors totaling 764 hp and 1120 Nm. In the first case, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.9 seconds, while in the second, it takes just 3 seconds.
The initial version is equipped with a 105 kWh battery, providing a range of 370 km. There are also options with 135 kWh (480 km) and 180 kWh (640 km). The Rivian R1T electric pickup has a load-bearing body structure, and its dimensions reach 5 and a half meters. Its payload capacity is 800 kg. Besides the cargo platform, there are two more trunks: a 330-liter front one and a 200-liter rear one.
The car has a very restrained and somewhat brutal chopped design with LED front and rear optics across the entire width of the body. Inside, the large instrument and multimedia displays draw attention. The price of the Rivian R1T in Ukraine reaches $100,000. However, the cost may vary depending on the modification and configuration.
