by Despite difficult times, there is a high demand for ultra-luxury electric cars in Ukraine. It’s about Rolls-Royce Spectre – the brand’s first electric model with a starting price of $600,000. Since the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian businessmen and deputies not only haven’t lost interest in such cars, but seem to be increasing the pace of purchases.
As of the end of February 2025, there are already 16 Spectre units in Ukraine, with 2 cars purchased in January-February of this year alone (there were 14 in December 2024).
Among the owners of Rolls-Royce Spectre, you can see well-known Ukrainian businessmen and politicians:
- Vitaliy Khomutynnik – former MP (according to Ukrayinska Pravda, has not appeared in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion);
- Hennadiy Vatsak – a member of the parliament, owner of the confectionery house ‘Vatsak’;
- Mykhailo Bakunenko – former employee of Ukrnaftoburinnya;
- Olena Sylenko – the wife of Kharkiv developer Yegor Maslennikov;
- Yulia Kartsigina – the daughter of Donetsk businessman Serhiy Khanovych;
- and other influential figures.
Recently, another electric Rolls-Royce was spotted in Odesa. This car was registered at the end of January 2025, but the owner’s name remains unknown.
