by The Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is considered extremely rare and collectible. After all, only 99 units of such cars were made! A new unique Geländewagen cost 460,000 euros in 2017-2018, but now it’s difficult to find a similar one in the secondary market for less than 1 million euros.
As for the model spotted in Ukraine, it is actually not original but a replica. It was made in Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region). The Ukrainian version of the off-road G650 Landaulet was manufactured based on a 2001 serial Geländewagen. Last year, this car was sold for a quarter of a million euros.

Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet – is not only the first off-roader by Maybach but also the most expensive Mercedes Geländewagen in history. Large, powerful, and comfortable, the Mercedes-Maybach G650 became the pinnacle of the Geländewagen’s development.
The vehicle, 5.35 m long and 2.24 m wide, rides on huge 22-inch wheels, and its ground clearance reaches 45 cm. Compared to it, both the Bentley Bentayga and even the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan are equally Smart. But its main feature is the retractable roof, transforming the vehicle into an off-road convertible (but only for rear passengers), which is why this body type is called a landaulet.
