by Our homeland has one more McLaren. In fact, we are talking about the first in the country McLaren GT, as noted by our colleagues from the mclaren.of.ukraine public. This model is considered the most comfortable in the line of British sports car manufacturer. Moreover, this is the first McLaren car that belongs to the Grand Tourer class (a fast car for long-distance travel).
Under the traditional and recognizable McLaren exterior is hidden a comfortable, yet truly fast sports car. Despite two (!) luggage compartments with a total volume of 570 liters, the McLaren GT is a very dynamic car.

The GT looks quite restrained, although it retains the characteristic silhouette and signature upward opening doors. The roof can be either carbon or transparent (with a tinting function).
Inside, attention is drawn to the virtual dashboard with aviation-style graphics and a new generation multimedia system. Developers also claim that the mid-engine model has very good visibility.
The 2020 McLaren GT has adaptive dampers and carbon-ceramic brakes. The coupe has quite good ground clearance – it is adjustable within the range of 110-130 mm. Moreover, the suspension is softer than other McLarens and is more adapted to worse quality roads, like ours.
As for the cost, the initial price of the McLaren GT was 200 thousand euros. Why ‘was’? Because the production of the McLaren for travel began at the end of 2019. Currently, you can buy such a 2020 McLaren with mileage (like the one imported to Ukraine) for 150-170 thousand euros.
Let us recall that this is not the first McLaren (and not the only sports car) that first appeared in Ukraine during the war. In general, there are already a dozen McLaren sports cars in Ukraine, most of which have been imported in the last two years.
