In Japan, the TOP-10 best cars of 2021-2022 were named

A third of the best cars according to the Japanese are little known or not sold in Ukraine. But there are also those models that are held in high esteem here. But in any case, it’s interesting to know which cars are considered the best by those who live ‘in a different dimension.’ And the Land of the Rising Sun is otherwise unnamed.

After all, in Japan, everything is very drastically and radically different. Here, people die from overwork, communicate with robots, go to cafes for the sake of talking with cats and dogs, and at the same time the Japanese love morally and technologically backward Soviet cars.

But let’s move on to specifics. Based on the results of the national contest ‘Car of The Year Japan 2021-2022’, the best car became the Nissan Note and Nissan Note Aura. Recall that the E13 generation Note has been produced since December 2020, and its extended and facelifted variant Note Aura since June 2021.

Note/Note Aura received 335 points from the jury members — more than other contender models. The jury consists of the most experienced professional auto journalists in Japan. The closest pursuer was the rear-wheel-drive sports coupe Toyota GR86/Subaru BRZ with 264 points.

Experts praised the driving qualities of the Nissan Note and the hybrid e-POWER system of the second generation. It belongs to the sequential type, that is, the wheels are driven only by electric motors, and the internal combustion engine is used exclusively as a generator and charges the traction battery.

Another strong point of the new Note was the large selection of versions: in addition to the base model, there is a Note Aura with an extended body and its own exterior, as well as a sporty Note Aura NISMO and a raised Note Autech Crossover.
