In the USA, among the owners of Tesla electric cars, a new trend is gaining popularity – replacing the logos of their cars with emblems of other brands. This is how owners express their dissatisfaction with Elon Musk, his statements, and political sympathies. After his appointment to the Department of Government Efficiency in the USA (DOGE) and open support of Donald Trump, many Tesla owners began to distance themselves from the brand. In February 2025, mass protests took place in the country under the hashtag #TeslaTakeover – activists picketed Tesla showrooms and service centers, calling for a boycott, writes Autoportal.
