Ford Ranger MS-RT: A Stylish Pickup for the City
Not all pickup buyers are looking for off-road vehicles for extreme adventures. For those who want a stylish, comfortable car with the ability to transport cargo, Ford has introduced the Ranger MS-RT – a special version for Europe and the UK. This is a highly specialized model developed in collaboration with M-Sport experts, combining sporty design with everyday practicality.
Compared to the regular Ranger, the MS-RT features a wider body, lowered suspension, and aggressive exterior. The most noticeable changes are the widened fenders, 21-inch wheels, and sporty body kit. The interior features stiffer seats, leather upholstery with blue stitching, and other small details that emphasize the model’s special status.

Comparison with the Ranger Raptor
Unlike the Raptor, which is oriented towards off-roading, the MS-RT is created for the city. It is lower, has stiffer suspension, and better handling on asphalt. However, the engine remains unchanged, which may disappoint those who expected more power from such a stylish model. Furthermore, the price of the MS-RT in Europe is quite high – around 73,600 euros, making it less accessible than the Raptor in North America.
Interestingly, the Ranger MS-RT retains all the practical functions of a regular pickup, including a payload capacity of 1000 kg and a towing capability of up to 3500 kg. This makes it a good choice for those who need both style and functionality for everyday use. However, when compared to the Raptor, the MS-RT loses out in dynamics and comfort on uneven roads.
