by The automotive industry is undergoing a real revolution, and the new 2024 Toyota Crown Sport is a bright witness to this evolutionary leap, which many did not expect from Toyota (we are talking about bold design). With the new Toyota Crown Sport, a new chapter in the history of Toyota Crown opens up to us. This family of cars embodies the combination of elegance and luxury, occupying a niche between the Toyota and Lexus lines.
This crossover is characterized by a high window line and elegantly sloping roof. The front part features the new signature style of the brand, with a distinctive “nose” and sleek LED headlights. The car is built on the TNGA-K platform, which is jointly used by the Toyota Crown and Camry crossover sedan. Although it is slightly larger than the Toyota RAV4, it still maintains a compactness similar to the Highlander. The length of the Toyota Crown Sport is 4720 mm, ground clearance – 160 mm.
The interior of this crossover is no less impressive than the exterior. The steering wheel, gear lever, front panel, and 12.3-inch displays of multimedia and instrument panel are borrowed from the Crown sedan, giving the interior elegance and functionality. The trunk volume is also pleasing, being 397 liters.
The Toyota Crown Sport is available in one multifunctional configuration, which includes leather, elegant 21-inch wheels, advanced climate control, electric package, and a wide range of safety systems. The initial version of the new Toyota Crown Sport is equipped with a 234-horsepower hybrid system, combining a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. This system allows the car to operate in an incredibly efficient mode, with an average fuel consumption of 4.7 liters per 100 kilometers.
The price in Japan is almost from $40,000. When will it be possible to buy the new Crown crossover? It is not yet known, and it is not a fact that the Toyota Crown Sport will be presented in Ukraine, at least in the near future…
