Head of the parliament committee on tax and customs policy Nina Yuzhanina announced the introduction of benefits for certain categories of owners of cars with Euro plates. 
According to her, the government is ready to meet halfway with socially vulnerable owners of non-cleared cars – such as large families or disabled people, for instance. They will be allowed to clear Euro cars at a discounted rate. Nina Yuzhanina reported that the SFS should develop an appropriate regulatory act, agreed upon by the ministries of finance and social policy. Consultations on this issue are already underway.
All other owners of cars with Euro plates should not hope for discounts and benefits. Starting May 24, they will begin to be fined large amounts – up to 170,000 UAH.
