by The presentation of the luxurious Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has taken place. The large sedan, costing over $200,000, will go on sale in the spring.
The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class W223 reaches 5469 mm in length with a wheelbase of 3396 mm, that is, it is 18 cm longer than the already extended S-Class L. It is easy to distinguish it by its huge radiator grille, abundance of chrome, and special 20-inch wheels.
The interior is trimmed with Nappa leather and wood. Two wide electrically adjustable seats with footrests, heating, ventilation, and massage are installed in the back. Rear passengers have retractable tables, removable tablets, and a separate touchscreen to control audio and climate.
The first variant shown is the Mercedes-Maybach S580 with a 4.0-liter 496-horsepower V8 twin-turbo.
Later, a 630 horsepower V12 is also promised. The sedan received air suspension and a fully steerable chassis.
