Naturally, the mid-engine layout has changed the design of the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray. The front has become shorter, and the cabin is shifted forward.
The transparent hood cover allows you to see the engine, and air intakes have appeared on the sides. 
At the same time, the new Corvette has retained its familiar angular style. Both the front and back look familiar and somewhat resemble the predecessor. The roof is still removable.

The Corvette C8 Stingray’s cabin is designed in a cockpit style, meaning a very high tunnel separates the driver and passenger.
The coupe features a 12-inch virtual dashboard, and the steering wheel is flattened on top and bottom. Instead of a gear lever, there are now buttons, and there are paddle shifters as well. The trim includes leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber. Bucket-style sports seats are offered for an extra charge. The car now has two trunks (front and rear) with a total volume of 357 liters.
The basic equipment of the Chevrolet Corvette C8 has been expanded and now includes power seats with memory settings, heated steering wheel and seats, Wi-Fi, wireless charging for smartphones, LED headlights, and a Bose audio system with 10 speakers.

Initially, the new Chevrolet Corvette will be available with a 6.2-liter V8, producing 490 hp in the standard version and 495 hp with a sports exhaust. The peak torque is 637 Nm. More powerful versions will, of course, be available later on. The new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox has improved dynamics.
Acceleration to a hundred takes about 3 seconds, and the maximum speed exceeds 300 km/h. 
Developers claim that the switch to a mid-engine layout significantly improved the coupe’s handling. The Corvette C8 has received an electronic rear differential, and adaptive dampers and a Z51 sport package with stiffer suspension and larger Brembo brakes are available for an extra charge.
