Formula 1 drivers organized a campaign in support of Ukraine. It was held at the Sakhir track in Bahrain, where preseason tests are currently taking place.
Drivers wore special T-shirts with Ukrainian symbols and took photos with the Ukrainian flag and a No War poster. Then they all wrote about the campaign on their social media pages.
F1 drivers stand with Ukraine and its people for peace and freedom. Every conflict around the world affects us all and we hope this suffering comes to an end immediately.

All the drivers involved in the tests participated in the campaign. Among them were both current Formula 1 pilots and reserves. Ukraine was supported by Valtteri Bottas, Carlos Sainz, Lance Stroll, Daniel Ricciardo (who once visited Kyiv), George Russell.
The most titled participants of the protest were four-time Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel and two-time champion Fernando Alonso. Vettel went even further – he ordered a new helmet with the Ukrainian flag. Reigning world champion Max Verstappen and his main rival Lewis Hamilton were not at the tests in Bahrain, but supported the campaign on social media.

By the way, Formula 1 will be without the Russian Grand Prix and Russian drivers in the coming years. No one wishes to deal with the aggressor country and even the loss of millions of dollars did not stop the championship management.
