Автор: The official photos of the third-generation BMW Z4 have been presented. The rear-wheel-drive BMW roadster will debut in a week at the Pebble Beach retro show in the USA.
The new 2019 BMW Z4 looks almost identical to last year’s pre-series concept car. It has a long hood, and the cabin is pushed as far back as possible.
The developers ditched the folding metal roof in favor of a traditional soft top. The BMW convertible is built on the same platform as the revived Toyota Supra 2019 coupe.
Inside the BMW Z4, the virtual dashboard attracts attention. The center panel is traditionally tilted towards the driver, and the seats are separated by a high tunnel.
The photos show the top-of-the-line BMW Z4 M40i with a three-liter turbo-six engine producing 385 hp. A cheaper version with a 2.0-liter 252 hp turbo engine is also planned. Versions with a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic transmission will be available.
