On the Turbo No.47 insert is depicted a 1983 Nissan 300ZX coupe. The Japanese sports car is a representative of the legendary Z-series.
At the time of its appearance, the Nissan 300ZX Z31 amazed with its streamlined wedge-shaped design with pop-up headlights. By the way, for the 80s, its aerodynamics were excellent: the coefficient of drag was 0.30.
The Nissan sports car was offered as a coupe or targa with removable roof panels.
Interestingly, the car was offered in two length variants – 4410 and 4605 mm. In the latter case, the car was four-seater.
Options included naturally aspirated and turbocharged V6 engines with a capacity of 3.0 liters and a power output ranging from 165 to 240 hp. The 228 hp version depicted on the insert accelerated to a hundred in 7 seconds and reached 240 km/h.
Choices included a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
By the way, turbo versions were equipped with a digital dashboard, adaptive dampers, and an alert system reminding about open doors and lights left on.
By 1989, nearly 330 thousand Nissan 300ZX Z31 coupes were produced. For a sports car, this is an excellent result.
