The American hypercar SSC Tuatara received a new Striker modification. It is intended for the track, and the creators plan to break the lap record at the Nürburgring with it.

The Striker version differs from the regular (if you can call it that) Tuatara by a new body kit and active rear wing. The aerodynamic package increased the downforce to 500 kg at 260 km/h.
The engine in the SSC Tuatara Striker has not been touched – it is equipped with a standard 5.9-liter V8 twin-turbo with 1750 hp. If that’s not enough, there is an Agressor version, boosted to 2200 hp – it’s the most powerful production car in the world.

Although it’s loud to call it production, as only 10 Agressor and 100 Striker will be released. By the way, Agressor is purely track-focused and not allowed on public roads. Meanwhile, they will still try to accelerate the standard SSC Tuatara to 500 km/h. Recall, its official record is 455.2 km/h. However, not so long ago, the record-setting supercar got into a ridiculous accident and now several weeks are needed for its recovery.
