New Speed Limits Introduced in Kyiv en

From November, it is no longer legally possible to drive at 80 km/h in Kyiv. During the winter period, on a number of roads in the capital, this restriction does not apply, and a limit of 50 km/h is introduced, as everywhere. New Speed Limits Introduced in Kyiv

Recall that there are currently seven sections in Kyiv where 80 km/h is allowed in the summer:

  • Shukhevych Avenue (from the Northern Bridge to O. Balzaka St.);
  • Naberezhno-Rybalska St. (from the Havana Bridge to Elektrykov St.);
  • Naddniprianske Highway;
  • Naberezhne Highway (from Postal Square to Naddniprianske Highway);
  • Stolychne Highway (up to Akademika Zabolotnoho St.);
  • Saperne-Slobidska St.

    (from N. Hrytsenko St. to the Southern Bridge);

  • Bazhanna Avenue (from the Southern Bridge to Kharkivska Square).

The 80 km/h restriction in Kyiv will return on April 1, 2021.
