by A new formula for customs clearance of cars with European registration plates in Ukraine will be prepared. This was stated by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Policy, Daniil Hetmantsev, during a meeting with protesting owners of European cars, reports TSN.

The deputy did not disclose the details of the new scheme and stated that it is still under development. However, he noted that the formula will be derived based on the principles of ‘fair taxation’. As known, today the owners of uncleared cars organized another protest under the Verkhovna Rada.
They demand the prompt development of a new fair customs clearance law, an honest assessment of the value of cars at customs, and the introduction of technical inspection instead of certification and eco-standards.
