by In the USA, near Portland, an old Chevrolet Corvette was retrieved from a river. The sports car had been lying at the bottom for over 20 years, reports Jalopnik. 
It is notable that the police discovered the Corvette three years ago but decided to pull it out only now. It turned out that the car has been listed as stolen for two decades. However, the owner will not get the car back – he left the USA almost immediately after the disappearance of the Chevrolet Corvette.
The police do not rule out that he himself sank the car and then reported it stolen to collect the insurance.
