by The new DeTomaso P72 was presented at the Festival of Speed. The famous Italian brand DeTomaso was brought back from oblivion for its 60th anniversary. 
The DeTomaso P72 supercar was developed by the team that previously created the incredible Apollo Intensa Emozione. It borrowed the modern carbon monocoque from it. However, the design is kept in a retro style and resembles the DeTomaso P70 sports prototype created in the 60s.
Vintage features are also visible in the interior. There is even a manual transmission lever with an exposed gearshift, like in the Pagani Huayra. The interior combines leather, aluminum, and carbon. 
The specifications of the DeTomaso P72 remain a secret. Most likely, it will receive the same 6.3-liter 780-horsepower V12 as the Apollo Intensa Emozione.
A limited series of 72 DeTomaso is planned for 2020. The Italian supercar can be purchased for 750 thousand euros.
