In the USA, a 1988 GAZ-24-10 is up for sale. The Volga in America is offered for $21,500, reports Autocenter. This is the same price as a new Volkswagen Golf in the States.
Strangely enough, the Volga is indeed a rarity in the USA. Moreover, the car is in good condition, and its mileage is only 48,800 km.
Even the original first aid kit has been preserved. Although for some reason, the radiator grille is chrome-plated, like that of the earlier GAZ-24.
It turns out that the Volga was bought in 1988 by an engineer from Leningrad who took great care of it. In 2012, his grandson made a 10-day road trip across Germany with the car.
Now, the GAZ-24-10 has found itself in the American state of Maine, looking for a new owner.
By the way, it has interesting license plates — the inscription can be read as Trump. We are very curious to see if a buyer will be found at such a price.
