Nissan has updated a 23-year-old concept to the 2025 version

Updated Nissan Micra 350SR Concept

The Micra 350SR concept was introduced 23 years ago as a special version dedicated to the model’s racing heritage in Japan. Now, Nissan has decided to celebrate this anniversary by updating this hatchback.

Externally, the car features LED headlights with semi-circular daytime running lights inspired by the design of the new Micra. The body is painted in a satin silver shade with blue accents, complemented by glossy black elements and restored 18-inch RAYS wheels.

Interior Updates and Technical Features

The interior is equipped with new seats, seatbelts, and a multimedia system with a 9-inch display, supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. An updated audio system has also been installed.

The original concept weighed only 1,200 kg, but thanks to modifications such as the NISMO intake system and a tuned ECU, it produced 300 hp.

Although official details about engine changes have not been disclosed, it is likely to remain the same—a 3.5-liter V6, but with components from the Nissan 350Z. The debut of the updated version will take place soon.

This project demonstrates how Nissan honors its history by combining retro design with modern technology. The Micra 350SR remains an iconic car for brand enthusiasts, and its update could serve as a bridge between the company’s past and future.
