Ford Recalls Over 56,000 Broncos and F-150s Due to Safety Issues

Ford Announces Two New Recalls

Ford continues to break records with vehicle recalls – this year their number has already reached 93. Two new cases concern the hybrid version of the 2025 F-150 pickup and Bronco SUVs with an additional spare tire mount.

The first recall affects 56,473 F-150 Hybrid vehicles. As reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in these cars, the audible signal that warns of an unfastened seat belt when the engine is started may not work. This contradicts federal safety standards.

A company employee noticed the absence of the signal back in May, which triggered an investigation. It turned out that the problem occurs due to a low charge of the 12-volt battery, which affects the operation of the audio system.

Owners will receive recall notifications by the end of August, and later – instructions on how to fix the problem. The manufacturer plans to update the audio module software to eliminate the malfunction.

Problems with the Rearview Camera

The second recall concerns only 59 Bronco kits that included a 2-inch lift suspension, extended fenders, and an updated spare tire mount. It turned out that this mount is incompatible with vehicles equipped only with a rearview camera and was intended exclusively for models with a 360° panoramic camera.

Dealers were not warned about this feature, and three complaints about camera image issues have already been received. As part of the recall, dealers will check and replace rearview cameras if necessary.

These incidents show how even minor technical errors can lead to serious safety consequences. Ford continues to face challenges in quality control, especially in the context of active release of new models and technologies. In recent years, the company has significantly increased the number of recalls, which may affect consumer trust.
