Expansion of the Tuner’s Activities
Heico Sportiv, a German tuner long associated with Volvo, has expanded its activities to other brands under the Geely umbrella. The company now offers custom upgrades for the Chinese Lynk & Co model range in Europe, including the 01, 02, and 08 SUVs.
Upgrades for the Lynk & Co 02
The Lynk & Co 02 model has particularly attracted attention—a stylish compact SUV with an electric powertrain, introduced in 2024. Heico Sportiv has equipped it with 21-inch Volution alloy wheels with a ten-spoke design. They are an inch larger than the standard option and are available in gloss black, matte titanium, or matte gold-bronze, each of which can be standard or with a diamond-cut finish.
Suspension and Aerodynamics
The new wheels are paired with sport springs that lower the model by 35 mm. A more aggressive stance is emphasized by moderate aerodynamic components focused on the lower part of the body.
Body Kit Composition
The kit includes a front spoiler, side skirts, and rear bumper extensions, all finished in body color, contrasting with the EV’s gloss black surfaces. The tuner did not add a rear spoiler, leaving the coupe-like roof silhouette and prominent LED rear lights untouched.
Technical Specifications
The Lynk & Co 02 is technically related to the Volvo EX30 and Zeekr X. It is built on the Geely SEA platform, has a rear electric motor producing 268 hp, and a 66 kWh battery. Heico Sportiv does not offer any performance enhancements, so the electric vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and has a top speed limited to 180 km/h.
Availability and Warranty
The tuner stated that its products will be offered through the European Lynk & Co dealer network, ensuring full warranty coverage.
Cost of Upgrades
The 21-inch wheels cost from €2,400 to €3,560 per set depending on the chosen finish. The sport springs will cost €390, and the spacers cost an additional €335. The company has not yet announced prices for the aerodynamic components but offers branded floor mats for €185.
Public Debut and Other Projects
The modified Lynk & Co will debut at Auto Zurich in Switzerland on October 30th. At the same event, Heico Sportiv also presented a Volvo XC60 T8 with a body kit, lowered suspension, sport exhaust system, engine upgrade, more powerful brakes, and 22-inch wheels, as well as a Polestar 4 with the same wheels and an eggplant bronze wrap.
Additionally, the company published photos of a modified Lynk & Co 01 in both electric and hybrid versions with similar styling and chassis upgrades. Available accessories for the larger Lynk & Co 08 PHEV will be announced later.
This development highlights the growing integration of Chinese automotive brands into the European market through collaboration with renowned tuning ateliers. Heico Sportiv’s offering for Lynk & Co demonstrates how manufacturers can attract buyers by offering personalization without interfering with key technical specifications, which is particularly relevant for electric models where warranty remains a priority.
