Kia has released official photos of the second-generation Telluride – a full-size crossover that has long been a hit worldwide but remains a “secret fruit” for Ukraine. The first generation has been in production since 2019, and against the backdrop of Kia’s modern lineup, it already looked outdated – so an update was long overdue.

The new Telluride has changed significantly. Hyundai-Kia designers have bet on futurism: massive planes, minimalist lighting, a large U-shaped composition of the grille and headlights, pop-out door handles, and a graphically “floating” roof on dark pillars. Decorative notches have appeared on the wheel arches – purely stylistic, but it adds character.

The interior features technological minimalism in the style of the latest Kia models. Two 12.3-inch displays are combined into one tablet, the front panel has become restrained and horizontal, and the steering wheel has acquired an almost rectangular shape. Inside – more premium feel and less visual noise.

The dimensions have also increased:
- length — 5058 mm (+58 mm),
- height — 1775 mm (+25 mm),
- width — 1990 mm,
- wheelbase — 2975 mm (+75 mm).

All this means even more interior space, especially in the second and third rows.
Official technical specifications have not yet been announced, but according to preliminary data, the base version will get a 3.5-liter gasoline V6 with 291 hp, and above it will be a plug-in hybrid with a 2.5-liter engine.

The world premiere will take place on November 21 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Officially, the Telluride was not available in Ukraine and will not be – the model was created exclusively for the North American market. But this has never stopped our enthusiasts: the first-generation Telluride can already be seen on Ukrainian roads, mostly as salvage from American Copart and IAAI auctions.

So, the second generation will most likely follow the same path: it won’t be here officially, but unofficially – there will be everything that finds its way from the States.
