New Mustang Concept with Bronze Accents and 800 Horsepower
A new factory concept package for the Mustang, called the FP800 S Bronze Magneride, has appeared on the Ford Custom Garage website. This kit combines distinctive bronze accents, an updated suspension, and significantly increased power, offering Mustang enthusiasts a unique opportunity to stand out.
The Heart of the Concept – A Supercharged Engine
The foundation of the package, as in the FP800S concept presented at SEMA in 2024, is a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, to which a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger has been added. This combination is expected to deliver approximately 800 horsepower. To reliably transmit and control such power, the kit includes reinforced half-shafts, an air/oil separator, and a lowering kit.
Unique Bronze Design
The main visual difference of this package from the original concept is the numerous bronze elements. They are present along the entire length of the car: 19-inch R1 wheels, bronze lug nuts, body graphics, and inserts in the grille. The design is complemented by carbon fiber overlays on the mirrors and hood vent, a front splitter, a Dark Horse rear spoiler, and wheel arch moldings.
Interior with Accents
Inside, the bronze tones take a back seat, but customization continues. A unique FP800S badge appears on the dashboard, matching the key fob included with the car. The driver and passenger are provided with Recaro sport seats with Ford Performance logos.
Factory Warranty and Price Expectations
An important advantage of the package is that it is a full-fledged factory development, which allows the car’s warranty to be preserved. The main question remains open for now – the price. The company already offers a Sinister Bronze package for the Bronco for $5,200, but it does not include a supercharger. The price of the new package for the Mustang is expected to be at least twice as high.
This package is a uniquely looking car and a way to stand out from the crowd if you already own a Mustang or plan to become one.
The appearance of such a package on Custom Garage indicates a growing trend among manufacturers – to provide customers with the opportunity for personalization and performance enhancement at the “catalog order” stage, without losing official support. This is a kind of bridge between mass production and tuning ateliers, which is especially valued in the high-performance coupe market. Such offers not only increase the model’s appeal but also create additional value, as the car leaves the dealership immediately unique and technically perfected. The success of the Bronco with similar packages suggests that Ford’s strategy is finding its buyer.
