Pinnacle Nissan Unveils NISMO-Inspired Sentra SE RS Version
Pinnacle Nissan dealership, in collaboration with NISMO Nick, has officially unveiled the new Sentra SE RS model, which was first announced last month. The car was created by the dealership itself in Scottsdale, Arizona, with the goal of reviving the spirit of the early 2000s tuning era in an affordable, ready-to-use package.
Bright Exterior and Graphics
The car immediately grabs attention thanks to its bright graphics package. Red accents have been added to the front bumper, side skirts, mirrors, and diffuser. The most noticeable features are the red-black-gray stripes, which on the rear fenders transition into a pattern reminiscent of a checkered flag used to mark the finish line in motorsports.
Technical and Interior Updates
In addition to the unique graphics, the Sentra Special Edition Rally Sport received a NISMO sport exhaust system, 18-inch black NISMO alloy wheels, and a grille that differs from the standard one for the SR trim.
Key updates also include an adjustable coilover suspension and an updated interior. The interior features black and red Katzkin leather seats with an “SE RS” logo on the headrests.
The goal of creating this model was to revive the spirit of the early 2000s in an affordable, ready-to-use package.
Price and Competition
The complete upgrade package costs $6,995. However, since the SE RS is based on the base Sentra SR model, which costs $25,000, the total price of the car starts from $31,995.
This is a fairly significant amount for a compact sedan. For similar money, one could purchase, for example, a Nissan Altima SR Midnight Edition, and still have funds left over. Furthermore, buyers will have to accept that under the hood remains the standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque.

The emergence of such special versions from dealers demonstrates an interesting market trend. It is an attempt to fill a niche that automakers sometimes leave empty, offering customers a ready-made, more emotional product without the need for self-tuning. Despite the high total price for its class, the Sentra SE RS may find its buyer among those who value the unique appearance, improved suspension and exhaust sound, as well as the car’s readiness “from the showroom.” The success of this model could be an indicator of whether there is demand for small but characterful sedans in the era of crossover and electric vehicle dominance.
