The Porsche collection of renowned enthusiast Magnus Walker has become a true legend in the automotive world. Soon, part of these unique cars will find new owners at an auction, opening an opportunity for other fans of the brand to acquire true gems with special character.
Individual Approach Instead of Originality
Unlike many collectors who worship factory originality, Magnus Walker has always favored his own style. A vivid example is the 2004 Porsche 911 GT3 he is putting up for sale. Purchased in 2016, this car received a black hood, as well as bright orange and blue accents on the body. The interior also underwent changes, including the installation of a carbon fiber steering wheel. Experts estimate this lot at approximately $125,000.
Unique 911 Models
Another interesting car from the collection is a 1965 Porsche 911. Walker equipped it with black Fuchs-style wheels and applied his own paint scheme combining a silver color with black, dark red, and golden accents. This look is unmistakably recognizable as Walker’s own style.
The most expensive car at the auction will likely be a 1976 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI. This model marked the end of the era of Porsche with mechanical fuel injection and still has its original 2.7-liter engine. Walker’s specimen is considered one of only 113 special homologated versions produced by Porsche for the German market. The owner added a number of personal touches: a prominent “ducktail” spoiler, a new coat of paint, a yellowish tint to the headlights, and a set of houndstooth bucket seats.
Diversity of Lots
Among other interesting cars for sale are a 1979 Porsche 928, a pair of Porsche 968s, a 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera with a non-series “Flat Nose” body kit, as well as a bright blue 1976 Porsche 911 Turbo, estimated at $175,000–$200,000.
Magnus Walker is also parting with a huge assortment of Porsche parts and accessories collected over decades. And if your garage or wallet is not ready for mechanical parts, the auction will also feature a collection of Hot Wheels models and even a signed Lego Technic model in the form of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
This auction is not just a sale of cars, but an opportunity to acquire a piece of automotive history created by one of the brightest figures in the tuning world. Each car bears the imprint of Walker’s individuality — his courage to depart from canons and create something personal. Such collections often disperse into private collections, and this sale allows a new generation of collectors to become owners of cars that already have their own legend and character.
