Premiere of the 2027 Ford Bronco RTR Interior
Ford has finally revealed the interior of the new special edition 2027 Bronco RTR off-roader. The vehicle, introduced back in January as a more affordable alternative to the hardcore Raptor version, has received a bright and contrasting interior that fully matches the exterior.
The manufacturer calls this cabin the most expressive in the entire Bronco lineup. It was developed in collaboration with the RTR team and has several unique features:
Lead designer Lindsay Ross, who managed the project, noted: “In creating the Bronco RTR, we used the Hyper Lime color to convey a sense of drive and high performance. We wanted this color and energy to be felt both outside and inside, in the driver’s seat. When you grab the seatbelt or adjust the air vent, you feel that this vehicle is built for adventure and is always ready for vivid experiences.”
Standard Equipment and Technical Updates
As expected from a top-tier version, the Bronco RTR comes with rich standard equipment. The base package includes heated seats, dual-zone climate control, and the Ford Co-Pilot 360 driver-assist systems suite.
However, the changes weren’t limited to design. The vehicle received serious hardware updates to improve off-road capabilities:
- A suspension with increased ground clearance and 33-inch diameter tires is installed as standard.
- FOX internal bypass shocks and 35-inch tires for more challenging conditions are available as an option.
- Under the hood remains the familiar 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine producing 300 horsepower, but it has been supplemented with a cooling system from the Raptor and an anti-lag system for improved response during active driving.
Presentation and Expected Price
The public premiere of the 2027 Ford Bronco RTR will take place at the New York Auto Show and at the annual Bronco Stampede event in Moab, Utah. Detailed specifications and the final price will be announced in the coming months before sales begin later this year. Approximately, the price of the new model will be lower than the Badlands Sasquatch version and could range from $50,000 to $55,000.
The arrival of the Bronco RTR clearly demonstrates Ford’s strategy of expanding the range of special editions for different buyer circles. While the Raptor is focused on maximum performance, the RTR offers a balance between bright, emotional design, improved off-road characteristics, and a more accessible price. The emphasis on the Hyper Lime color and details developed jointly with RTR indicate a desire to create not just a vehicle, but a product with its own character and identity for those who value individuality. The success of this model could determine the further development of similar collaborations within the Bronco lineup.
