Chinese Response to Rolls-Royce Cullinan looked elegant until Mansory ruined everything

Mansory turned the Zeekr 9X into a true luxury SUV

The German tuning studio Mansory has turned its attention to a Chinese car for the first time. The result of this work was presented at the Beijing Auto Show. It concerns a modified Zeekr 9X — an ultra-luxury SUV that appeared on the market in the second half of last year.

The Zeekr 9X can be considered a response to the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, but significantly cheaper. It already ranks among the most powerful and luxurious SUVs in China, but with modifications from Mansory, it has become even more extreme.

Exterior changes: from grille to rear bumper

The changes start at the front. The standard chrome radiator grille has been replaced with one that resembles the Cullinan even more. A sportier bumper and splitter have also appeared, with integrated daytime running lights. Mansory created a unique hood for the 9X, making the car even more impressive.

From the side, the standard Zeekr looks quite elegant, but now that has changed. White 24-inch wheels have been installed, along with widened wheel arches, extended side skirts, and retractable running boards. Carbon fiber accents appear on the rear pillars, and at the rear — a large roof spoiler and a small spoiler on the tailgate.

The exterior modifications include a new rear bumper with a diffuser and four exhaust tips. The body has received a white-bronze color scheme.

Interior: even more luxury

The interior of the 9X was already very luxurious, but Mansory has made it even more refined. The seats, dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, and transmission tunnel are now upholstered in white leather with gold accents. Several carbon fiber elements have been added, as well as black Alcantara on the dashboard.

Powertrain unchanged

No changes were made to the powertrain, although the 9X does not require them. In its standard configuration, the flagship model uses a hybrid system: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and three electric motors that together produce 1,381 hp. This allows the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds.

Thus, Mansory focused exclusively on design and luxury, leaving the already impressive technical specifications unchanged. This decision highlights that the Zeekr 9X is already a technologically sophisticated car that only needed a visual enhancement of its status. The appearance of such a project indicates the growing interest of global tuning studios in Chinese premium brands, which are increasingly becoming objects for customization. Given that Mansory traditionally works with the most exclusive models in the world, the choice of the Zeekr 9X can be considered recognition of its place among true luxury cars.
