2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT Already Available for Order: 777 Horsepower for $99,995

Ram Opens Orders for the New 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT

Ram has officially opened orders for the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT pickup. The model will arrive at dealerships this summer, with a starting price of $99,995, excluding the $2,795 destination fee.

This is a significant sum, yet it is $10,935 less than the price of its competitor, the Ford F-150 Raptor R ($110,930). Moreover, the new Ram surpasses its rival in technical specifications as well. While the Raptor R is equipped with a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 producing 720 hp at 6,650 rpm and 640 lb-ft of torque at 4,250 rpm, the TRX features a 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 delivering 777 hp (579 kW / 788 PS) and 680 lb-ft (921 Nm). The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive.

Impressive Performance and Off-Road Capabilities

This powertrain allows the pickup to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds. This is faster than a sports car like the Mustang Dark Horse. The model’s top speed, which is best-in-class, reaches 118 mph (190 km/h).

However, the vehicle is not limited to straight lines. The TRX features an off-road suspension with forged aluminum control arms, specific springs, and Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive dampers. This is complemented by electronic differential locks and 18-inch wheels fitted with 35-inch tires.

Luxurious Interior and Modern Equipment

Despite its aggressive exterior with wide body cladding, a sporty hood, and dual exhaust tips, the pickup’s interior is surprisingly luxurious. The driver and passengers are greeted by black Natura Plus leather seats with perforated Alcantara inserts, along with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The interior is further enhanced by an Alcantara headliner, carbon fiber trim, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch multimedia system, a Harman Kardon audio system with 19 speakers, and two wireless smartphone chargers.

Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, Hands-Free Active Driving Assist, a head-up display, lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage.

Special Bloodshot Night Edition

For those who find the standard model not special enough, Ram offers the Bloodshot Night Edition package for $9,995. It features a two-tone paint job with the upper part in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat, a red hood stripe, unique graphics, and wheels with satin titanium rings.

Inside this version, you will find carbon fiber with red anodized threads, a glass center console with an emblem, and TRX badges with a red outline.

Other optional packages are also available, such as Bed Utility, Trailer-Tow, and Trailer Technology, which add a deployable bed step, an exterior power outlet, and an integrated trailer brake controller.

Thus, the new Ram 1500 TRX SRT not only offers higher power and a lower price compared to its main competitor but also combines genuine off-road capabilities with luxurious features, making it a highly attractive proposition in the high-performance pickup market. The introduction of the Bloodshot Night Edition underscores the manufacturer’s desire to meet the demand for even more exclusive and aggressive modifications.
