In Odesa, an iconic Chevrolet Corvette C3 sports car from 1981 has been put up for sale on AUTO.RIA. For the 45-year-old coupe after a large-scale restoration, they are asking $75,000 or almost UAH 3.29 million.
The car is painted red and equipped with a 5.7-liter gasoline V8 with gas-balloon equipment. The seller notes that the restoration took five years, and the Corvette actually became a “completely new car.” It is also reported that there is a step-by-step photo and video report on the restoration.
According to the advertisement, the sports car has two owners. The last registration operation was carried out in July 2025 during the issuance of an individual license plate.
Chevrolet Corvette C3 became one of the most famous American sports cars of the 80s

The third generation Corvette was produced from 1968 to 1982. The design of the model was created under the impression of the Mako Shark II concept, and the characteristic long fenders and low silhouette made the C3 one of the most recognizable sports cars in the USA.
The 1981 version was equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine of the Small Block series. Depending on the market and settings, the engine developed up to 190 hp and worked in conjunction with an automatic or manual transmission.
Chevrolet Corvette 1981 received an updated interior and body made of composite materials

One of the features of the Corvette C3 was the fiberglass body, which helped reduce the car’s weight. The interior of the model featured deep sports seats, a driver-oriented center console, and a characteristic dashboard with a large number of analog gauges.
Judging by the photo, the Odesa example received an updated red leather interior, new door cards, and reupholstered seats. The car also retained classic alloy wheels and the signature body proportions of the Corvette C3.
The seller also stated a willingness to consider exchanging the sports car for real estate.
