The British showed the fastest crossover in the world

The crossover Aston Martin DBX has been enhanced with the top-end 707 version. It is the most powerful and fastest crossover currently in production worldwide.

The digital designation indicates an increased engine power of 707 hp. By the way, the same power output was available in the SUV (not the crossover) Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, but it is no longer produced, and it’s uncertain if such a version will appear in the current generation of the model.

Recall that the 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo for the Aston Martin DBX is supplied by Mercedes-AMG. Torque increased to 900 Nm. With the new 9-speed automatic transmission, acceleration to a hundred takes 3.1 s, and the maximum speed is 310 km/h. That is, the Aston Martin DBX707 is even faster than the Lamborghini Urus.

In addition, the all-wheel-drive transmission and air suspension have been recalibrated. The Aston Martin crossover is stopped by carbon-ceramic brakes with a diameter of 420 mm in front and 390 mm in the rear.

The new Aston Martin DBX707 can be distinguished by its enlarged grille, body kit, and 22-inch wheels, with four exhaust pipes peeking out from the back. The interior is trimmed with two-tone leather, and bucket seats are installed in front. Sales of the crossover will start in spring at a price of $232 thousand.
