What Do the Hypercar Pagani Zonda and the Budget Rover 45 Have in Common

Pagani Zonda is a classic of modern supercar engineering. Buying such a car is not just expensive now ($1 million and above), it’s practically impossible (they are extremely rarely available for sale these days). Zonda is a masterpiece, but despite the cost, this hypercar has something from Rover.

Rover 45 is a compact British budget model, which is a cousin of the well-known Honda Civic. In Ukraine, the price for the 45th Rover ranges within a few thousand dollars. But did you know that the air conditioning system (control unit) from this model was borrowed for the Pagani Zonda?!

Additionally, note that the Zonda’s engine is from Mercedes SL73 AMG R129.
