This GMC was barely used for 23 years

Rare 2002 GMC Yukon with minimal mileage

The used car market sometimes presents real wonders. Among ordinary high-mileage vehicles, you can find true rarities—for example, a 2002 GMC Yukon that has traveled less than many do in a year.

This particular unit, sold by Gangrud Nissan in Wisconsin, has only 7,944 miles (12,784 km) on it over 23 years. Such rarity is reflected in the price—$42,995. Though nostalgia for early 2000s cars is strong, is the Yukon worth that much?

The seller did not provide information about the vehicle’s history or the reason for such low mileage. The photos of the car are also not very high-quality, making it difficult to assess its condition in detail.

Externally, the car looks excellent—a red body with no signs of aging, chrome bumpers, and original 16-inch wheels. The interior is also in good condition, though there are minor wear marks on the light-colored leather seats. The 5.3L V8 engine likely still delivers around 285 horsepower, and the three rows of seats make it a practical family vehicle.

Such a price might only be justified for collectors seeking perfectly preserved large SUVs from that era. However, even for them, this is a serious investment in nostalgia.
