This Restomod Porsche is Simply Incredible

A Classic Porsche 911 in a New Embodiment

In a world where the Porsche 911 is becoming larger and more complex, the demand for simple and lightweight versions is growing. The team at The RSR Project presented their interpretation of the classic 1986 model. This car is inspired by the original RSR models and is equipped with a 3.4-liter naturally aspirated engine with a five-speed manual gearbox.

Every car that enters the workshop is completely disassembled and restored. The body receives new parts, is custom-painted, and the suspension and brakes are modernized. The interior is also not left without attention — the seats are upholstered in leather with houndstooth fabric elements, and a modern air conditioning system is installed for comfort.

“The RSR Project was founded because I wanted to create my own perfect Porsche,” said the company’s founder, Richard Shickman.

Fulfillment of one order usually takes from 12 to 18 months. Although the cost of such projects is quite high, they continue to attract fans who are looking for a combination of history and high quality of execution.

Interestingly, the trend of restomodding classic cars is gaining momentum, and the Porsche 911 remains one of the most popular models for such transformations. Drivers are increasingly preferring unique, personalized solutions that combine modern technology with the spirit of the past.
