The Federal Bureau of Investigation has now turned its attention to those committing vandalism on Tesla cars.
It has an entire task force focused on what Donald Trump calls acts of domestic terrorism.
Conflicts between Musk, Trump, and anti-Tesla protesters are intensifying ahead of the FBI’s tough battle.
On Monday, a dealer in Texas discovered several “incendiary” devices on its premises. The FBI, along with local law enforcement, quickly intervened. It turned out that this incident was just the beginning of a new FBI task force aimed at eliminating those targeting Tesla owners and dealers. This move comes at a very tense time as Tesla CEO Elon Musk approaches the government, effectively acting as the head of DOGE efficiency department.
It’s no secret that attacks on Tesla cars and showrooms are a current phenomenon now. Although it might seem unclear why this is happening, it seems quite obvious that these attacks are targeted at him and his actions over the past few months.
“It is really very shocking to me that there is this level of hatred and violence from the Left,” Musk said on Fox News on the Hannity program a week ago. “Tesla is a peaceful company; we haven’t done anything harmful. I haven’t done anything harmful; I’ve only been doing productive things. So, I think there’s just some derange… there’s something going on with mental illness here because it doesn’t make any sense,” he added.
One type of aggression in this vein. One thing is clear; it doesn’t stop in a single news cycle.
FBI and Government Reaction
With all this, it’s no surprise that both Musk and Trump have expressed their opinions. The US President has called these acts domestic terrorism, and now, under his guidance, the FBI is launching a new task force to identify and punish those responsible for the violence. Trump even suggested that convicted anti-Tesla protesters should be sent to prisons in places like El Salvador. The ATF is also working alongside the FBI on this issue.
The FBI is studying the increasing violence against Tesla, and over the past few days, we have taken additional measures to stop it and coordinate our response.
This is domestic terrorism. Those responsible will be pursued, caught, and held accountable.
“Director [FBI] Patel was categorically clear: The FBI will be unwavering in its mission to protect the American people,” said an agency representative. “Acts of violence, vandalism, and domestic terrorism – such as the recent attacks on Tesla – will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Attorney General Pamela Bondi also confirmed that at least three individuals have already been charged with the violent destruction of Tesla-related sites.
There is no doubt that Musk and Trump are keen to demonize and dismantle the #TeslaTakedown movement, which is spreading worldwide. All this happens as Musk gets closer to Trump, prompting questions about civil liberties, hypocrisy, oligarchy, and advantages. Unlike it, it seems that no other major governments have responded in such a widespread manner.
