The Ford Bronco 2022 lineup has been expanded with the top-end charged Raptor variant. The SUV will start selling in spring at a price from $70,000. By the way, it was specifically made cheaper than the main competitor Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392.

The new Ford Bronco Raptor received a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine from the Ford Explorer ST. In the crossover, it produces 405 hp and 560 Nm, but for the Raptor, its output is promised to be increased. A new exhaust with different volume modes has also appeared.

The frame SUV is equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with a low range. Reinforced axles were developed for it, and the ground clearance was immediately increased to 330 mm. The suspension migrated from the Ford F-150 Raptor: its travel reaches 330 mm at the front and 350 mm at the rear, so you can now jump off ramps.

Ford Bronco Raptor is noticeably wider than the standard model – 2180 mm. To install huge 37-inch tires, fender flares were needed. The bumpers were also reinforced and additional underbody protection installed. Additionally, the Raptor has a special grille and a hood with vents.

The SUV is offered only in the five-door version. The interior features sports seats with contrasting stitching, an improved virtual dashboard, and an enlarged 12-inch touchscreen.
