The ZAZ has completely new insides. In particular, it received a 1.5-liter 111-horsepower Toyota 1NZ engine, familiar from the Yaris hatchback. Paired with it is a 4-speed manual transmission from the ZAZ-968M.
The car’s wiring is completely new. 
Tuning for the ZAZ-965 also includes brakes (disc front, drum rear), CV joints, and front suspension from Oka. Alloy wheels and LED daytime running lights are also installed, and the interior features an audio system with USB.
