A very curious event occurred in Tbilisi – a VAZ-2106 was removed from a fourth-floor balcony by a crane. The car had been there for 27 years.
The VAZ-2106 on the balcony had already become a kind of tourist attraction in the capital of Georgia. Although its story is not exactly cheerful. In 1991, a resident of Tbilisi, Rezo Enukidze, decided to buy a VAZ-2106.
However, on the very first night, the wheels were stolen from the car in the yard. Since Rezo did not have a garage, he took radical measures. The Georgian hired a crane, which lifted the car onto the balcony of his apartment in a Khrushchyovka building. There, the Zhiguli VAZ-2106 remained until now. Rezo Enukidze passed away a year and a half ago, but only now have his relatives decided to remove the car.
It is in original condition and virtually unused – only the wheels need to be replaced.
