Jeep continues its Twelve 4 Twelve campaign with the introduction of the new Sarge Edition. This special series, based on the Gladiator and Wrangler models, pays tribute to the legendary 1941 Willys MB and fits perfectly into the brand’s “Original Superheroes” marketing concept.
Design and Exterior
The special editions are based on the Willys and Rubicon trims and feature a two-tone body. Versions in ’41 Green color receive a white radiator grille surround, a white “1941” graphic on the hood, and white stars on the front doors. Buyers will also find a white Freedom Top roof. Other colors, such as Black, Bright White, and Granite Crystal, feature ’41 Green elements on the grille surround, decals, and hardtop.
All versions are equipped with bronze tow hooks, color-matched wheel arch extensions, and steel rock rails. They are complemented by exclusive 17-inch wheels painted in ’41 Green and 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-season tires.
Interior and Details
The military theme continues in the cabin with a unique combination of Cattle Tan and Drab Green colors. They are complemented by Soul fabric seats and contrasting Mayan Gold stitching.
Other features include a tailgate badge and several signature identifiers. The latter include a gear shift knob with a star-shaped medallion, a “1941” plaque near the cup holders, and air vents with the seven-slot grille logo.
Price and Availability
The 2027 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Sarge will go on sale this summer with a small premium compared to similarly equipped models. The four-door Wrangler Sarge will cost $100 more, while the Gladiator Sarge will cost $500 more.
These special editions are part of Jeep’s broader strategy, actively leveraging the brand’s historical heritage to create unique and appealing models. References to the Willys MB and military past not only emphasize the authenticity of the SUVs but also allow the company to stand out in a saturated market, offering buyers not just a vehicle, but a piece of history.
