The war in Ukraine has hit the car market hard, but it hasn’t completely stopped it. Strangely enough, new cars were being sold in March. According to the Ukravtoprom Association, 546 cars were sold in Ukraine last month. This is almost 10 times less than in April and 16 times less than in March of last year.
Ukravtoprom clarified that they counted the cars that were actually purchased, as thousands of cars were donated by dealers for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and territorial defense. The leaders of the month were Renault with 108 cars sold. Second place went to Toyota (88 units), and third place to Skoda with 37 units.
