Renders and the first details of the new generation Toyota Land Cruiser Prado have leaked online. The SUV will be presented at the beginning of 2022.
According to the Japanese website BestCarWeb, the new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will still retain its frame. Previously, rumors circulated that it would be built on the Camry sedan platform. The SUV will grow to 4.85 m in length and will not change much externally.
In addition, it became known that the 2022 Toyota Prado will retain the 2.8-liter 204-horsepower turbo diesel, like the updated current model. However, the gasoline versions will be replaced by a hybrid with a 2.4-liter engine and an electric motor.
Both versions are likely to receive an 8-speed automatic transmission. Naturally, there will be a reduction gear and differential locks – in general, everything for which Toyota Prado is so loved here.
