by At the Guangzhou Motor Show, Great Wall surprised with a new pickup. It is based on the serial King Kong Cannon but outwardly looks even cooler than the charged monsters Ford Raptor and Ram 1500 TRX.
It seems that the Chinese rewatched “Fast and Furious” and decided to make the most “modified” pickup. And, frankly, it can’t be said they didn’t succeed.
The conceptual “King Kong” turned out to be truly impressive and very fierce. It was named Supercar Pickup, which it essentially is, at least judging by its appearance. As for the internals, Great Wall does not disclose technical specifications – which means there’s nothing to boast about. But from a design standpoint, it’s hard to fault the novelty – it’s very ornate.
Let’s not forget, a Chinese clone of the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² was also presented in Guangzhou recently.
