In Khmelnytskyi, a rare BMW Alpina B12 from 1991 has been put up for sale on AUTO.RIA. The asking price for the sports sedan based on the BMW 7 Series E32 is $25,900 or over UAH 1.13 million.

The car has a mileage of 139,000 km and belongs to the early Alpina models with a twelve-cylinder engine. The B12 became one of the most famous projects of the German tuning company Alpina based on the flagship BMW E32.

The model was created as a more powerful and exclusive alternative to the standard 750i versions. Alpina refined the engine, suspension, aerodynamics, and interior of the car.

Under the hood is a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V12, whose power was increased to 350 hp. Compared to the standard BMW 750i engine, the unit received a modernized intake system, new electronic settings, and a refined exhaust.

The engine is paired with an automatic transmission. Acceleration to 100 km/h took approximately 6.9 seconds, and the top speed exceeded 280 km/h, which was supercar-level in the early 90s.

Alpina also installed a different suspension, signature multi-spoke wheels, and an aerodynamic body kit with a distinctive front spoiler.

The BMW Alpina B12 is considered one of the rarest versions of the BMW 7 Series E32 generation. Alpina cars were traditionally produced in small numbers, with each example receiving an individual number.

The model’s interior featured premium upholstery, a sporty steering wheel, and the signature Alpina digital instrument cluster. For the early 90s, the model also had rich equipment, including power-adjustable seats, climate control, and cruise control.

Today, such cars are increasingly finding their way into private collections, and well-preserved examples of the BMW Alpina B12 rarely appear for open sale.
