Only 500 White 706 buses were produced from 1935 to 1939. They were specifically created for excursions in the largest US national parks.

The design of the White 706 was developed by the Ukrainian Count Oleksiy Sakhnovsky at the Bender studio. His mother was a granddaughter of the famous sugar magnate Tereshchenko, and his father was a descendant of Mykola Gogol and Pavlo Polubotok.

After the 1917 revolution, Oleksiy Sakhnovsky left Kyiv and initially emigrated to Belgium, then to the United States, where he became a car designer.

Oleksiy Sakhnovsky designed not only buses, but also trucks, as well as Passenger Packard, Cord and Austin. He was a supporter of the innovative aerodynamic style at that time.

The aerodynamic design of the White 706 is distinctive. Additionally, it has a complex roof and immediately four doors on the right side. The interior is designed for 14 passengers.

The White 706 bus is equipped with a 5.2-liter six-cylinder engine with 94 hp. It is paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The maximum speed is 72 km/h.
