Special 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels improve the stance and performance of the SF90 XX. Novitec also lowers the suspension height by 25 mm using new sport springs for better handling. Ferraris are already so well-tuned from the factory that, more often than not, when an aftermarket tuner intervenes for improvement, they only cause harm. However, Novitec is an exception.
This tuner has the ability to take an already extraordinary Ferrari and make it even better, which it seems to have done with the XX. Conclusion: the first priority is to ensure the SF90 XX sounds like the supercar it is meant to be, not like a muted creature suppressed by noise and emission regulations. With this goal in mind, they developed a new exhaust system for the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, squeezing an additional 30 hp from it. The result is a total power output of 1,046 hp and 620 lb-ft (840 Nm) of torque, more than enough to satisfy the need for speed. For those for whom weight consciousness is as important as sound, the exhaust can be made from stainless steel or Inconel, the same material used in Formula 1.
So, this thing can scream and lose weight in the process. The tuner wisely decided not to touch the complex hybrid systems and electric motors, leaving them as they are. What Novitec did is the embodiment of some parts of the SF90 XX’s design. The most visible change is the installation of new 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, shod with high-performance 255/35 and 325/25 tires. These wheels are complemented by new sport springs that lower the car’s height by 25 mm (1 inch) front and rear.
The final change made by Novitec is the installation of carbon fiber mirror caps. The car is finished in a wonderful shade of blue and is actually a customer’s car, although Novitec did not say how much this customer paid for the upgrades. The tuner will gladly modify the interior of every SF90 XX that comes through their doors, ensuring the car’s cabin looks as impressive as the exterior.
